In Romans 8, Paul offers one of the most encouraging verses in all of Scripture – if we are in Christ, we are not condemned!  After discussing what it means to be, “in Christ,” we look to Rom. 8:1-4 and find three things that are true “in Christ”: In Christ, we are not condemned by sin; in Christ, we are not controlled by the Law, and in Christ, sin is condemned and the Law is completed.

 

God condemned sin so that sin would not condemn believers.
