Pilate had several opportunities to handle things rightly with Jesus. Instead of doing what he knew was right, he allowed himself to be pushed to do what was wrong, simply because it was easier and would preserve his position an power.
His example serves as a warning to us – Don’t try to appease the world; Don’t boast in your position, power or status; Don’t fear the world more than you fear the Lord.
Commit to stand firm in Christ – don’t compromise your Christian faith.
