God calls us to live by faith, and Abraham is held up to us as an example of the faith God is looking for.  In analyzing Abraham’s example we discover 4 things: 1) Abraham hoped when things were hopeless; 2) Abraham’s faith didn’t weaken, though his body had; 3) Abraham’s faith was strengthened as he trusted in God’s strength; and 4) The faith of Abraham is the same faith God looks for today.  After a look at the example of Abraham, we will take some time to ponder God’s promises.

 

Faith in God’s promises is the best way to face our problems.
